Overview
What makes an office space truly an office space? Is it the people that define the space, or does the space shape the people within it? As an intern at Ethlas, a gaming company, I was entrusted with reimagining their office space—a task that challenged me to think beyond my expertise in design. My goal was to create a multifunctional area where employees could dine, relax, celebrate, and collaborate seamlessly.
Approach
Throughout the project, I effectively collaborated with the Ethlas team and contractors, ensuring all aspects of the renovation were completed on time and to a high standard. Beyond the office design, I also oversaw the implementation of essential infrastructure, including the Wi-Fi network and power supply. I was the handyman, repairman and painter, tidying up furniture and cracks along the way. Managing multiple aspects of the project from start to finish was a rewarding challenge, and the result was a space that fostered both connection and productivity. This experience taught me the value of balancing creativity, logistics, and teamwork to deliver impactful interior designs.
